Job Description

The Assistant Finance Manager will support the Finance Manager in overseeing the accounts functions and team, ensuring the accuracy of financial data, managing GST and TDS filings, and preparing financial reports. The role involves assisting in budget preparation, fund utilization monitoring, and maintaining financial integrity through regular audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing Accounts Functions:
  • Assist in overseeing and monitoring the accounts functions and team.
  • Ensure accurate entry of financial data in Tally.
  • Verify Tally entries for accuracy and compliance.
  • Budget and Fund Management:
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly budgets.
  • Support the processing, utilization, and monitoring of funds to meet organizational needs.
  • Tax Compliance:
  • Handle GST filing, including GSTR 3B, GSTR 2A comparison and verification, and GSTR1 filing.
  • Manage TDS filing, including monthly and quarterly e-TDS filing.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Conduct stock verification to ensure accurate inventory records.
  • Financial Reporting:
  • Assist in generating comprehensive financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports.
  • Provide financial data and support analysis for decision-making processes.
  • Transaction Monitoring:
  • Monitor financial transactions and ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.
  • Audit and Compliance:
  • Assist in regular audits to ensure financial integrity and compliance with organizational policies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA/CA Inter/CMA Inter. Audit trainee experience will be an added advantage
  • Those who are preparing for CA/CMA final need not have to apply
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Tally and other financial software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
